What does that mean? Exactly what it
says! We humans, hopefully, have come to learn that we have no
right to persecute the other species that also inhabit this planet. They
have as much right to be here as we do. There are many animals we have
persecuted over the eons, but the Wolf is a special case. They mean us no
harm. They are one of the most successful species on this planet.
They have, over time, settled in every continent and adapted to every
climate on Earth. From the Artic, to the deserts, to the great mountain
ranges. They are an intelligent and family oriented species. And, as
predators, help control prey species. The American Indians call them 'Brother', because they admire the wolf's great hunting skills
and spirit.
It is the Law of Nature.
If we lose the fight to preserve the Wolf, as with all wildlife, we will
fail to preserve this World! If we are not careful, one day we just
may become extinct! We must stop fooling around with the Natural World! |
